
It’s officially the most festive season of the year! “Melomakarona” is the traditional greek Christmas desert. It’s something like buscuits with honey and walnuts! Love them! But this year i needed a subtitute…
So i made ”melomakarona” in energy balls version! They’re raw, gluten free, refined sugar free and so easy to make!

Melomakarona energy balls

Ingredients
- 1.5 cup oats flour
- 2 cups walnuts grated
- 1 tbsp honey or agave/maple syrup
- 8-10 medjool dates pitted
- 1/2 orange juice and zest
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp clove powder
Instructions

In a food processor add the dates and 1 cup walnuts and process.

Put them in a bowl and combine with the remaining ingredients (except 1 cup of walnuts).

Roll them into balls using hands.

Roll the balls in the remaining grated walnuts.
